Why i chose to do my poster on…..
I did my poster on our earth day event that we are having and i explained what we are having that day and my part will be working with children and them doing art activities. I also put the date and time and where it will be. I also put pictures of kids and the recycling sign and a picture of a world. Showing that we are going to have food and activities i wrote that in bold and so people could see it better.

What can i do about……”Littering”
Trying to keep our city clean……….by no littering and throwing trash on the ground or in the beach where there could be animals. For example the bus pollutes air but it doesn’t smell as bad as before. But at least now more people go on the bus and try to litter less. I noticed last time when i was waiting for the bus at the transfer center and i saw where there are benches to sit that there was a lot of trash. It also smelled really bad. I would go help and pick up that trash and at least keep it clean so it won’t smell bad.
The Monkey Wrench Gang….
This book was very confusing to read. Even though i’m not done reading it but its very weird because they talk about four of five different people’s lives and how they live and their problems about the environment around them. The book is very inspiring towards people talking about the issues about the environment but they experience it and they enjoy it.

During my spring break i……
During my spring break i would wake up late and go to work at night. I also spended time with my boyfriend. Yesterday since it was easter we ate at my mom’s neighbors house like a couple houses away and they are like family to us now so it was fun because me and my sister hid the eggs for the little kids and my mom’s god daughter found alot of eggs with candy and even money. My brother found $17 worth in eggs and the rest of the kids each got like two or one dollar. But it was really hot outside but it was also fun because my dog was playing with his sister who he doesn’t really see and one of my mom’s friend is the owner of her so it was fun seeing them running around and biting eachother. We ate alot so after like at seven we went for a walk around the neighborhood to walk the dog then we just went home and relaxed.

How our environment is becoming bad
Our environment right now hasn’t been so good because of all the pollution around us.
I think we should make it better by keeping our city clean. I think we need to keep the air
clean by using the bus as a better transportation because it wastes less gas and the air will
be much cleaner. I take the bus because i don’t drive yet and it’s better but in a way i
would preffer to drive because i want to go places and i can’t always take the bus to do
that. By also keeping the city clean would be better just recycling everyday and not
throwing trash on the ground because that also affects the animals on the ocean
and that could affect them a lot and i don’t think we want that.
Response on a Wind-Storm in the Forest, John Muir
This story was very interesting, it sounded very nice to be able to go to Yosemite. My
uncle lives like two hours away from there and we are going to be going soon because it’s
so pretty and nice. The water looks fresh and fun to just go and enjoy some time and to
also hike or do other things with the family. The story explained that there was bad
wheather when they went but they still kept walking through the snow and heavy winds.

Kinda Cussin Response

In class we read the article called, Kinda Cussin by Marlon Manuel. This article started saying that any kid cusses at any age now a day. It’s not good but either way they will still do it. Most kids watch MTV and get some of the bad words from there. But either way they learn them on television or at home with friends and family and or school as well. Everyone first learns them by how they are raised either by their family cussing all the time or just listening to other people saying them around them and it could be not so good for them to be saying it to someone else they don’t know and for no reason if some they don’t know what they mean.
I think that the popular borderline expletives or light cussing is bad but not as bad because they are not bad words its just words being used in a slang word so they won’t use the real bad word. But when they do use the bad word then that is dangerous because I have noticed that there are a lot of people that cuss in front of their kids but they don’t want that because they don’t want them to start cussing at a young age. I cuss in front of my parents but they don’t like me or my siblings cussing either or in front of our little cousins. But till this day I try and I stopped cussing in front of family.
I think that it does affect the borderline because it has good ways and bad ways. The good ways are that it helps our culture by having to teach respect for the teenagers who just say the bad words in front of who ever they are with. Some kids just don’t have respect and they just say whatever comes out of their mouths which is bad. Another bad reason why it is bad is because some kids cuss at school and teachers don’t like it because then other kids that don’t really hear those words learn them and then their parents get mad at them and go complain to the school.
From my experience is when I was working at an elementary school and some of the little kids would cuss and say the words that are used in the article and every time I would hear them I would tell them something and not to say those words. I cuss when I’m with friends and at work sometimes but also when I’m at home. My parents raised us right though and that was not to cuss or say anything bad. Now that we are older we do cuss but we try not to do it around them or my little cousins. I have learned and tried not to cuss in front of the young kids I work with here at
In conclusion to the article I think that no kid at any age should cuss.

1. What was your topic or the problem you hope to address?
I chose recycling and water damages and how dirty the ocean gets.
2. what do you think will work as a solution?
Well i think everyone needs to keep their city clean and recycle more and keep the ocean clean by not throwing away anything while your walking by and you see water going down the side walk drains.
3. What personal experiences can you use to develop your essay and support your claims?
Well my personal experiences are that i have throned away trash when i walk down the street and it goes down the water drain but i realized that it affects the ocean and the pollution because it leaves a bad smell.

I would want adults and teenagers and children as well but pretty much everyone needs to know. People themselves should know what to do to take the action of helping out.

The Border
The border i think for example is a lot…….Well where my dad is from there’s the border to go to Mexico because it’s in El Paso ,Texas and every time we go to Mexico we cross it to go to the other side. We like going over there is fun with all our cousins and family.
Also i think parents have their own border line for how they raise their children for example my parents have it because when it comes to limits well we all have our own. When we have hit the border like then, well we get in trouble.
But i also think that each person has their own border of personality and attitude.
