goodluck to you jeanette. To become a school teacher is a lot of challenge and responsibility especially 2nd graders. But if you have the passion for it all is well.

I like how you relate a border line to parents and how they raise their kids. Also your last sentence, i think, is pretty accurate on how we define ourselves, as adults, while we grow up in life.

being a 2nd grade teacher is a great aspiration. i too love children and feel the same way as you do. i nanny two boys and love to teach them whatever i can while thoroughly enjoying their time. patience is a major necessity when working with children. i’m glad you figured that out already.good luck with your career.

Props on keeping at it and doing your thing, i like alot that you are so down with kids makes me feel happy, kids are awsume hu? they can be so much fun the way they look up to older people like us, its funny i never saw my self as a role modle but my little brother looks up to me and try to be like me it cracks me up he just turned five and i have a little sister who just turned eight, I dont know what i would do with out them they bring my life mad joy. I hope you get into a good preschool to teach at and hope your have fun with your students. dont change, late

I find MLK’s words inspiring also. While his words definitely helped change people’s minds about race, racism is still a huge problem in this country, don’t you think?
